Robert Fishman, interim dean, Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning

The ugliness and divisiveness of the last few months have been of great concern to all of us, not least our international students and students of color who were threatened and hurt by the politics of racial division and nationalist xenophobia.  I am proud that our Taubman community has managed to stay together throughout these difficult times.

Please be assured that the results of last night’s elections have not altered in the slightest the College’s and the University’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.  We will now have to strive even harder to build the just and sustainable society which is the aim of all our work.
