Important Message from the Dean of Students to Ukrainian Students

Dear Student:

The violence unfolding in Ukraine is upsetting to those who cherish democracy. As the Dean of Students, I understand you or your family may be personally affected by these events. I am reaching out to offer the support of the Dean of Students Office and to provide information about other campus resources that are able to assist you. We recognize the extraordinary impact and toll this is having on so many, and want you to know we care and are here for you.

The Dean of Students Office regularly assists students experiencing disruptions in their academic and student lives. We provide support and work to connect students with appropriate resources. If you would like to discuss how we may assist you, please contact us at or by phone at 734-764-7420.

    • CAPS offers a number of resources that could help you get through this time period, including online resources if you are away for Spring Break.

    • The International Center provides information and resources for international students regarding their immigration and visa related needs and challenges and any travel related concerns.
